Levi is a 4 year old Male Rottweiler who is currently at one of our foster homes. He came into us extremely nervous, but he is now starting to find his feet and beginning to express himself. Levi is fairly good on his lead but will require more training as he crosses your path and pulls some of the time. He would suit a female owner preferably but anyone with experience of large breed dogs would be fine. He can be fairly demanding for attention but as he is settling it is becoming less of a problem. We think he would suit an adult only home or a home with older children who have been taught how to handle a larger breed dog. We are re-furbishing our kennels for the next few weeks so will not be able to take any new dog’s in, but we will have more dog’s once the re-furbishments have been completed. Please keep checking back with us for further updates.

We have only one  female Husky cross mixed pedigree pup left, who will be on a first come first served basis once a £20 deposit (non refundable) has been received to secure the pup and a home check has been passed. She will likely grow to be of a medium/large build once fully grown. Please phone on (+44) 07935 339533 for more information.

Can you help NWPR by helping to raise some funds?  All monies raised help with the costs of looking after the animals that come into our care before they are rehomed.  Our biggest costs are vets bills and food for the animals so any money that you raise for us will go towards these costs as well as bedding costs and the running costs for the NWPR van which we use to collect animals and do trips to the vet etc.  Each and every donation, no matter what size, will mean that NWPR will be able to help more animals in desperate need of care.

If you can help us in any way and want to start fundraising, we can advertise your fundraising activities for you on the NWPR website and on our webpage on Facebook.  Examples of fundraisers could be coffee mornings, bake sales, car boot sales, car washing, mowing lawns and donating the fee, raffles, karaoke nights, doggy fashion shows, sponsored runs/chest shaving etc.  Really anything that takes your fancy that can raise some money!

We are funded from donations only.  To raise funds in order to help keep us going, we have monthly collections at 2 venues in L’Derry.  We are in real need of more people to help on these occasions.  It involves collecting for an hour once a month.  Having a bigger pool of people to call on would make a real difference.
